Having new window frames installed isn’t an everyday decision. Many customers ask us: what does the process actually look like? Below we walk you through it step by step — from first contact to handover.
Step 1: introduction and measuring
It starts with a no-obligation conversation — by phone, via our contact form or in our showroom in Wassenaar. We then visit your home to measure precisely and assess the situation: type of house, desired look, ventilation and any municipal or owners’ association (VvE) rules.
Step 2: a quote within 24 hours
Based on the measurements you receive a clear quote within 24 hours — no hidden costs. It specifies exactly what you get: profiles, glazing package, colour, hardware and full installation. Unsure about options? We calculate variants transparently. Feel free to check our indicative prices first.
Step 3: made-to-measure production
After approval your frames go into production — fully made to measure. Expect a lead time of roughly 4–6 weeks for PVC and 6–10 weeks for aluminium. We keep you informed and schedule the installation day well in advance.
Step 4: installation day
Our own installation team removes the old frames, fits the new ones and finishes everything neatly. Per home, installation usually takes one to a few days, depending on the number of frames. We protect your floors, limit dust and leave your home broom-clean. We dispose of the old frames.
Step 5: handover and inspection
After installation we go through everything together: smoothly operating windows and doors, neat finishing, working ventilation. The job is only done when you are satisfied. You’ll receive maintenance tips — minimal for PVC and aluminium.
Step 6: subsidy and service
If insulating glazing was installed, we help you apply for the ISDE subsidy free of charge. And we remain available afterwards: from Wassenaar we’re quickly on site anywhere in South Holland.
